The Turlock Municipal Airport is authorized by the Turlock City Council and operates under the Merced County Airport Land Use Commission. The Airport is operated by the Turlock Regional Aviation Association under an agreement with the City of Turlock.
The Turlock Municipal Airport is funded through the Airport Enterprise Fund which consists of the revenue generated from airport user fees. Some special projects receive additional funding from the FAA and Caltrans.
The Turlock Municipal Airport is committed to providing aviation air services that enhance the economic development and social benefit of our community and surrounding area.
Merced County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan - June 2012
On June 21, 2012, the Merced County ALUC adopted the Merced County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan and certified the associated Negative Declarations.
